New Guidelines for Vitamin D are Misleading




Recommending one dosage of vitamin D for everyone is an anachronism. We need the same system we use with hypothyroid. Test your vitamin D level and then adjust the amount of oral vitamin D until you reach your target. (The Vitamin D Council recommends blood levels of 50ng or 125nmols.) Just suggesting a blanket dose for everyone of a certain age, is B.S.
